Rev. Stanley Hatcher

Rev. Stanley Hatcher, 85, Cave City, passed away Friday, September 20, 2019, in Bowling Green. Rev. Stanley was born on January 10, 1934 to the late Rev. Earl and Maymie Hatcher. Bro. Stanley was an ordained minister of the Green River Association of United Baptist for 48 years and a faithful member of Servant Valley United Baptist Church until his death.

Bro. Stanley is survived by a son, Eugene Hatcher (Betty); a daughter, Genese Dial (Jeff), both of Cave City; a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Hatcher, Edmonton; eight grandchildren, Brad Dial (Brookie), LaDonna Shive (Ryan) and Jake Dial of Edmonton, Jon Dial (Chastity), Tiffany Carter (Jordan) of Glasgow, Joseph Hatcher of Cave City, Rachel Dotson (Joe) and Brandi Alluis (Gary) Edmonton; eleven great-grandchildren, Braeden, Bennett & Garrett Dial, Koleton & Kade Carter, Landon & Ruthie-Rae Shive, Alexis Dotson Bowen (JR), Jessie Brooke Dotson, and Tanner & Luke Alluis; a sister, Margie Wilson, two brothers, Issac Hatcher (Helen), Paul Hatcher (Dorada), all of Cave City; a sister-in-law, Alice Jeffries, Greensburg and several nieces and nephews.

Bro Stanley is preceded in death by his wife of 44 Years, Ruth Hedgespath Hatcher, a son, Rickey Joe Hatcher; a grandson Jeffery Allen Dial, Jr; a great-granddaughter, Emma Grace Shive; one sister and five brothers.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM Monday, September 23rd at Servant Valley United Baptist Church with burial in the Cave City Cemetery. Visitation at the church will be after 5 PM Saturday until time of service.

Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel, Cave City, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
